A manufacturing-led signage project starts with the range of processes behind the finished piece. Metalwork, joinery, formed acrylic, printed graphics, screens and installation each solve a different part of a retail brief. Design Technology Advertising has operated from Dubai since 2004, making it one of the longest-established retail fabrication businesses in the Emirates. Everything we sell, we build - metalwork, CNC joinery, acrylic fabrication and direct UV flatbed printing all happen in our own facility.

Our production processes
In general, a controlled fabrication workflow moves from approved artwork and dimensions to material selection, cutting or forming, assembly, surface finishing, quality checks and site installation. Printed graphics need colour control; fabricated components need clean joins and protection during transport; installation follows the venue's access rules and approved drawings.
Coverage and lead times
A manufacturing plan also has to allow for artwork approval, production sequencing, packing, delivery access and the installation window set by a shopping centre or store.

A 3D black horse sculpture, carved from a solid block of styrofoam and finished by hand, now installed in the AIGNER boutique. The project ran from raw block to installed display entirely in-house.
Asics - flagship store
3D footwear display walls, acrylic lightbox graphics and stainless steel suspended shoe stands for a dynamic athletic retail environment.
Emporio Armani - store fit-out
Bespoke brushed brass metalwork, smoked mirror accents and minimalist display podiums crafted for a high-fashion retail store.
