An exhibition is a compressed project. A stand has to be designed, fabricated, transported, assembled, branded and dismantled inside a fixed event window - and look intentional the moment the doors open. Every component is temporary, but the finish standard is permanent. That tension is the brief we build to.
DesignTech Group runs the production chain in-house: design development, digital printing, digital screen integration, carpentry and joinery, acrylic and metal fabrication, signage and turnkey installation. An exhibition brief is coordinated through one point of contact, so a stand is not handed between a designer, a printer and a builder with no one owning the result.
Stands, counters and branded backdrops
An exhibition stand is a small architecture project. It needs structure, surfaces, branding, lighting, counters for engagement and often integrated screens - all of which have to assemble on site within the build window and dismantle cleanly afterwards. We fabricate the structural carcass in joinery or metal, skin it in printed or painted finishes, and integrate acrylic, lightbox and screen elements as the brief requires.
Branded backdrops, counters and lightboxes are where the stand becomes the brand. We produce large-format printed graphics, edge-lit acrylic panels, illuminated lightboxes and fabricated counters - each built to survive transport and assembly, not just to photograph well in a studio. Components are packed for the venue, labelled for assembly order, and checked against the stand layout before they leave the facility.
Graphics, screens and modular components
Graphics and screens carry the stand's message at distance and at the booth. We produce large-format UV-printed panels, fabric lightboxes and wall murals for visibility across a hall, and integrate commercial LED screens and interactive touch kiosks for engagement at the counter. Printed graphics are produced with colour control so a brand's colours read correctly under exhibition lighting, and screen content is coordinated through centralised control for synchronised playback.
Modular components help a stand travel. Where a programme visits multiple events, we can engineer reusable frames, panels and signage that pack flat and reassemble without losing finish. The specification depends on the event calendar, transport plan and venue conditions - we confirm the build approach against the brief rather than defaulting to a one-off.
Transport, assembly and event deadlines
An exhibition has one immovable deadline: the doors open. That makes logistics part of the build. We plan transport, venue access, assembly sequence, packing and dismantling alongside fabrication, not after it. Packages are labelled for assembly order, components are protected for transit, and the installation team works to the event's build window - which is almost always tighter than a standard retail install.
We do not publish a turnaround figure for exhibition work. Programme timing depends on the stand size, the event, transport, venue access rules, the build window and the scope of fabrication and installation. The production team confirms the schedule after those details are reviewed; we will not promise a lead time we cannot stand behind.
What to send us
The most useful first message for an exhibition brief includes the event, the venue, the stand footprint, the brand, the type of work (stand build, graphics, screens, signage, counters), approximate dimensions, the build and open dates, and any venue or organiser constraints. Existing drawings or a brief help us quote accurately the first time.
From there we can assess the brief, confirm the fabrication and installation scope, and come back with a workable plan - without inventing a venue, a trade show, an attendance figure, an award or a deadline. If no exhibition client reference is available, we will say so plainly rather than name one we cannot support.
Services for this sector
Every project below is produced in-house and coordinated through a single point of contact. Choose the discipline that fits your brief - or send us the whole scope and we will plan the production chain for you.
Where we deliver this sector
We operate offices across five GCC markets. Confirm the country, site and access rules before quoting - availability for a specific service in a specific country is confirmed against the brief, not assumed.
